Me: So it seems like a lot has been happening for you this past year. Tell us a little bit of how you're enjoying the DJ and Producing life?
Aylen: Love it. I basically work on music most of the time so which isnt really work to me. As for djing, when i get to travel it's pretty sweet too.
Me: That's good.. Gotta love what you do. So what do you prefer DJing or Producing?
Aylen: That's a tough question haha
Me: A good mix of both I'm assuming?
Aylen: I guess djing is more fun but i feel more accomplished when i finish a track
Me: Alright good to hear. So what's been one of your favorite shows so far?
Aylen: so far i think its when I did Throwed in Boston for a pajama party, feathers were flying everywhere :]
Me: haha awesome.. how big was the crowd?
Aylen: idk maybe 3-4 hundred
Me: Solid.. looks like you're making some good movement in the EDM world. So any tracks you've been working on here lately?
Aylen: I am finishing up a new remix tape which will feature a bunch of bootlegs, some official remixes for hoodie allen/the knocks.
Me: Very nice! Do you have anyone doing an exclusive release for you? Or just doing your own release?
Aylen: Just doing my own. The bootlegs are bootleg so prob going through facebook cause soundcloud hates me
Me: Ah having trouble getting past the DMCA's and all the legal jumbo?
Aylen: Exactly haha
Me: For sure.. So who are your favorite producers these days? And who do you look up to?
Aylen: My favorite producers right now are still Zedd, dillon francis, nicky romero.
Me: Would that also be your dream collaborations? To work with them?
Aylen: Yeah for sure id love to collab with any of them
Me: Are there any collabs with any other DJs right now you are doing or in the process of doing?
Aylen: right now i ahve some collabs in the works with D!RTY AUD!O, LeDoom, and DJ Bent
Me: Definitely looking forward to hearing those!
