It's been nine years since Ferry Corsten gave us the Trance classic ‘Beautiful' as part of his L.E.F. album and to honor such an incredible track, Seven Lions, along with Egyptian Trance duo Aly & Fila, and MaRLo have given us a remix package, released on Flashover Recordings. So how does one take such a highly revered song and make it their own, yet still stay true to the essence of the track? It's a fine line to walk, but Seven Lions manages to pull it off flawlessly.
Elements of Ferry Corsten's original ‘Beautiful' are evident throughout the entire track, all of it building up to the kind of drop we can expect from Seven Lions. Overflowing with synth heavy melodies and heart pounding bass, he makes ‘Beautiful' something all his own.
