Lights All Night Announces Phase 1 of 2017 Lineup

New Year's Eve is quite the magical time for EDM fans all across the globe. Events far and wide bring together some of the heaviest stacked lineups of the year with productions filled with ball drops, confetti, balloons, and everything else that comes with ringing in the New Year. While the market becomes incredibly over saturated with festivals and concerts all over the world, there are a few festivals within the U.S. that seem to ring the new year in the loudest. Unfortunately, New Years Eve this year does not fall on either a Friday or a Saturday so some of these events are slightly limited compared to freedom and excitement of past years. Despite this, one of our favorite events of the year Lights All Night is planning its return for December 29 & 30 at Dallas Market Hall in Dallas, Texas.

As lineups have began to emerge for NYE, Lights All Night has followed suit announce the first phase of it's 2017 lineup. This year, the festival will be dominated by headlining sets from two of the biggest names in electronic music. Bassnectar and Porter Robinson already have in common their passion and intensity for the non traditional style for producing, organizing, and composing electronic music. Now, they can add to their list the chance to headliner Lights All Night together. Bassnectar will be bringing his signature flavor of extremely intense melodic highs, and simultaneously his grimy wonky style of heavier bass tracks creating for the sensation that has become a Bassnectar show in the past few years. Porter Robinson will be doing a special DJ set, breaking apart from his normal Worlds live set, allowing for much more creativity and diversity to be included in his artistic process at the festival. These are two sets that we can honestly say will have something for any fan of dance music, reaching from various corner to corner of the spectrum.

Rounding up the lineup are many smaller names with large quantities of talent. Popular acts such as Seven Lions and Illenium will be brining their close monopoly of melodic dubstep to grace the stage in Dallas for fans attending Lights All Night, as well as four of the floor house master Destructo and house up and comer Drezo. Adding a different flavor to this lineup, Lights All Night has also included hip-hop acts Ugly God and Smokepurpp to their lineup so fans outside of EDM that are local to the Dallas area will have the chance to see some of their other favorite acts perform. One of the assumed hopes with these added bookings is that Lights All Night will be able to “convert” or truthfully convince fans of other music styles what Electronic music is all about. The diversity that this lineup boasts is more than enough to convince us to head down south to celebrate the entrance of 2018.

If the lineup was enough for you, this year Lights All Night will be giving back to the community in a major way as well. Some of the artists on the lineup have come to a special partnership agreement with the festival to offer tickets that include a donation to relief projects in Houston, specifically working with the Houston Food Bank. This ticket, which is on sale until September 8th, is only ten extra dollars, and the extra money added to the ticket will be matched by the festival to contribute twenty dollars to the food bank for each ticket sold. For the food bank, every dollar donated is equivalent to three meals for someone in need after the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey.

With Lights All Night, not only can you enjoy a great event with stellar music and fantastic production, you can also make a difference in helping the victims of the destructive natural disaster that occurred in Houston. From stage production, to free water stations, to amazing vendors, outdoor areas, and so much more, the experiences of fans in past years clearly speaks for itself. We can't wait to see you all at Lights All Night 2017. Tickets are still available here so make sure to grab yours ASAP and get excited to join the Lights All Night family this year!
