Giveaway : DDJ-WeGO2 Pioneer DJ Controller

Christmas is coming up and because we wouldn't exist without our readers, edmsauce is giving away tons of free goodies – from headphones to controllers to tickets to kandi, we've got you covered. We're giving away this totally rad compact DJ controller from Pioneer, the DDJ-WeGO2. If you're looking to get into DJ, its a great board for novices that is high quality, high functionality, and with a price that won't make your heart stop beating. It works with multiple DJ software packages including Virtual DJ, Serato DJ Intro, and djay 2 for iOS devices. It even has some cool LED effects. It's also a great controller for DJs who don't want to take their full spread out to small gigs, or don't know how much space they'll have and don't want to use the house equipment (if there even is any). We had two DJs check it out for us and both said although it wasn't as nice as their current equipment (which is $$$s of dollars worth) they really liked it and thought it offered a lot of oomph for the price ($299).

DDJ-WeGO3

The Pioneer DDJ-WeGo32, is integrated with the Algoriddim djay 2.6 software. Simply connect the WeGO3 to an iOS device running Algoriddim’s djay 2 app to use the console’s jog wheels, buttons and dials to perform with your Spotify, iTunes library or with music on your PC/Mac. We got a chance to chat with the founder of Algoriddim, Karim Morsy.

The best feature of the Algoriddim software is the seamless integration with Spotify in our software is a total game changer for DJing in general, in that it no longer limits your creative input as a DJ to the (limited) music you have stored on your hard drive but makes millions of songs accessible instantly. We have a very active forum where DJs exchange their experience using our software, share tips and tricks, and of course our support team actively helps out with any questions users have.

I’ve been DJing professionally for over 15 years. I’ve started with HipHop and R&B in the 90s, and I got my first turntables and mixer back when I was 14 years old, it was love at first sight.
