SFX is a giant presence in the EDM event universe, and it just got a little bigger. A couple weeks ago, we saw the company that is famed for buying Beatport grow with its acquisition of ID&T, known for such events as Tomorrowland and Sensation White. Now, they have moved into Southeast Asian market, obtaining in full the Totem One Love Group.
Totem One Love Group is known for it's Australian staple event Stereosonic, which has been gaining it's footing in the land down under since 2007. SFX has an amazing team of individuals who always seem to make the right moves at the right time, and this is mostly–or entirely–due to CEO Robert Sillerman. He started out simply creating a loose coalition of EDM events and festivals, and is growing to be a very prestigious brand in the dance music community and business world. This addition to the entertainment titan is one on a lengthy list, and you should be sure to keep an eye on what they do next.
