TomorrowWorld was the first international edition of the legendary Belgian festival, Tomorrowland. Unfortunately due to poor business practices the parent company of the festivals, SFX, was forced to declare bankruptcy. This killed TomorrowWorld and eventually the Brazilian installment of Tomorrowland as well. SFX cleaned house and was reborn as Live Style. Today we got some incredible news having been reported on by A Belgian New Outlet, DE TIJD.
A Willingness To Work Together Once Again
While the relationship between festival organizers and SFX, “were acidified”, Tomorrowland organizers are willing to work with the phoenix from SFX's ashes, Live Style. Live Style upper management has little, to no similarities in staffing with the team who burned SFX to the ground. Tomorrowland founders said that they would love to have another international festival by 2018. That being said – it is highly unlikely as there is a ton of work to be done.
Will TomorrowWorld Return?
America was obviously in the founder's cross hairs once again, but they also mentioned they want to hold a dance music festival on every continent of the world. A feat that only Ultra has accomplished (well excluding Antarctica for obvious reasons). Will we see a return of the Tomorrowland brand to the USA? Only time and patience will tell.
