When Twitter first announced #Music, it had spiked a large share of interest, but since then has lost quite a bit of attention and in a sense gone quiet. Twitter is trying to generate noise once again as they have just announced a brand new Spotify app.
The Spotify app will be much like Twitter's #Music site but will feature sections for Popular, Superstars, Emerging, Unearthed and Hunted. The app will feature genres such as Electronic, Alternative, Dance, Folk, Hip Hop, Pop, RnB, Rock, Metal and Country.
