Apple has just patented the method used when a group of people share music and and enjoy the music together silently and remotely by using a DJ of some sorts. The patent was published yesterday by USPTO and was initially found by AppleInsider. Basically Apple has patented the “silent discos” in which people come together to listen to a DJ through headphones instead of speakers. This sort of technology is nothing new though as both Mixify and Turntable.fm have been using this kind of technology.
