Dillon Francis Drops “Hello There” With Yung Pinch and The Pineapple Guy Finally Makes Sense

Dillon, if you're reading this, I just wanted to let you know that it makes sense. The promotion I mean. Hanging posters of the dude (most likely) on the beach with (most likely) a shark tooth necklace eating pineapple. It kind of reminds me of Mr. Bean “Weellll, Helloooo There”, but in a totally different, less creepy way. It makes sense. Total sense. He posted these Pineapple Guy posters all over LA to promote the drop of this track proving once again his mastermind marketing skills and genius behind going independent.

Teaming up with Yung Pinch confused me a bit at first and I'm sure I wasn't the only one that had absolutely no idea what was going to come out of our smart phone speakers when we first listened… What I wasn't surprised about? The fact that I was surprised at what my ears received from “Hello There”. We have seen all over social media hints at him wrapping up on his Spanish album which is expected to be infused with some heavy latin flare while delivering on his roots as a Moombahton producer/DJ.

“Hello There” is a rad change of pace for Dillon. It has a cool feel of youth that lures listeners in from the jump. Yung Pinch, a Buntington Beach Singer, delivers smooth vocals mesh perfectly with the tempo of Dillon's production. Having grown so accustomed to his hard hitting tracks of late, it's cool to see an exposure to Dillon's diversity as a producer and ability to cross-genres so effortlessly. There is a taste of Moombahton in the undertone which fired me up once I noticed it after a few times listening. Yung Pinch delivers the perfect, bouncy vocal to this feel-good track by America's favorite Snap Chat sensation.

The track can be found below. Take a step back and jump back into summer with “Hello There”.
