The 43-year-old Japanese DJ and comedian Kosaka Daimaou whose real name is Kazuhiko Kosaka may have just created the next “Gangnam Style.”
With its simple electronic beats and infectious lyrics, the “Pen-Pineapple Apple Pen” song may just very well be the next viral hit to sweep the nation.
Kosaka who was born in Aomori City, Japan appears to play the character Piko-Taro in all of his comedic videos. The singer songwriter has already racked up more than 7 million views since the video was uploaded back in August and is trending upwards towards a viral hit.
