On November 25th, Psy tweeted his thanks to all of his fans for watching “Gangnam Style” over three billion times on YouTube.
Psy took to Twitter to say “‘Gangnam Style’ got 3 billion views!! THX.” While Psy said that he is ready to move on from his 2012 hit, the music video continues to be Psy's most iconic hits throughout the years. At the height of its popularity, “Gangnam Style” hit the number 2 position on the Hot 100 Chart.
Even though “Gangnam Style” was the first video on YouTube to reach 1 billion views, Psy's parodic hit is the third-most viewed video following Luis Fonsi's “Despacito” and Wiz Khalifa's “See You Again.”
