The Gorillaz are currently working on their highly anticipated studio album. This will be the Gorillaz's first studio album since 2010 and will be their 5th studio album of all time. With all of the talk about the Gorillaz this year, here is more information about their newest release.
Jamie Hewlett of the Gorillaz has updated the North American Gorillaz Instagram page to inform us that their initial plan was to release the album in the 2016 year. Unfortunately with all of the work going into this album, Hewlett said that the album “is special, really f*cking special. Can't be rushed. 2017. yo.”
Just recently a picture with Vic Mensa surfaced which leads us to believe that he will be a collaborator on the album. With all of the hype surrounding the Gorillaz album, we can assume this will be one of 2017's most anticipated albums of the year. Stay tuned for more.
