Billboard has just released their list for the highest paid musicians of the last twelve months. Due to low demand for music downloads, touring is once again the determining factor for the 40 genre-spanning acts that topped this year's list.
Despite Calvin Harris earning $66 million in 2015, he somehow did not make this year's list from Billboard as well as many other popular DJs.
This year, Calvin Harris' girlfriend Taylor Swift topped the charts with a reported $73.5 million of total revenue from 2015. Sales accounted for $7.2 million, touring for $61.7 million, publishing for $4.1 million and streaming $564,000. In addition to Taylor Swift, these were the top 10 highest paid musicians for the 2015 year:
