Even though Hardwell didn't take home the #1 spot for this year's DJ Mag Top 100 Awards Ceremony, Hardwell did pretty well at this year's IDMAs.
The IDMAs is one of the most anticipated annual events in dance music. With over two million votes this year from music enthusiasts in 209 countries, the IDMAs continue to excel as one of the proven award ceremonies in the EDM industry.
This year, 57 different awards were awarded IDMAs. These categories included everything from best underground track of the year to best Headphones to best global DJ.
Hardwell won 6 IDMA Awards this year including best global DJ, Best Progressive House/Electro DJ, Best Solo Artist, Best Compilation Or Full Length DJ Mix, Best Podcast Or Radio Mixshow DJ and Best Featured Vocalist Performance.
