It takes a very special person to be into every genre of Electronic Dance Music, but there's something about mashing multiple songs and genres together that appeals to everyone.
It seems not so long ago back in 2013 Virtual Riots exploded onto the scene with their “Idols” mashup… Taking the EDM world for a ride, gaining millions of views on youtube and forever ringing in our ears with nostalgia for months.
Indeed, it does seem to have been a while since we've seen electronic music mashed together so perfectly and gain such critical acclaim. But don't worry, mashing songs together is an art that will never die- it just takes a very talented and patient being to do it.
Cue Trademark, a Chicago based DJ who has been quietly taking mashups to a whole new level. With well a established set list, he is currently taking the best of old, new and underground EDM and putting his own personal spin on it.
His latest production, “Holding On Alone” features 4 different artists! We promise you'll quickly become a fan.
