Axwell^Ingrosso Release Mysterious Teaser Videos for New TV Project
Axwell and Ingrosso have been very mysterious on their various social media accounts lately. They always seem to do a great job at leaving fans wondering what surprise they have in store for us next.
Their most recent stunt is a series of trailers on their website that all connect in an incredibly creative way. The first trailer shows the duo riding motorcycles down a long desert road to a snippet of their track ‘Something New’. The next is a continuation of the story where you see the due starring in an action movie that’s reminiscent of fight club to their track ‘On My Way’. The third is a quick video to the track ‘Can’t Hold Us Down’, where you see Axwell and Ingrosso being chased in a field outside of a run down warehouse.

The rollout ended up mapping directly onto the trio of singles the duo dropped throughout that stretch. “Something New” landed as their debut single under the Axwell Λ Ingrosso name back in November 2014, and it got a boost from a starring spot in a Beats by Dre commercial. “On My Way” followed on March 12, 2015, complete with a music video from director Christian Larson. “Can’t Hold Us Down” wrapped up the story arc the very next day, March 13, with its own Larson-directed video that picked up right where “On My Way” left off — the same action-movie chase sequence teased in these clips.
All three tracks ended up as key building blocks for what came next: Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s full-length debut album, which didn’t arrive until December 2017, meaning fans had a solid two years of singles, trailers, and teaser campaigns like this one to hold them over. Looking back, the Axwell^Ingrosso TV rollout was a masterclass in stretching one story across multiple release cycles, and it’s part of why the former Swedish House Mafia members were able to keep their momentum going strong as a duo.
