There are few artists who can truly pull on the heart strings of fans all around the world. Creating an overwhelming emotional reaction to a track is a monumental task for an electronic producer, and when it is done it seems to be done so perfectly we could not ask for much more. There are records such as “Sun & Moon” by Above & Beyond or “Digital Love” by Daft Punk that have gone down as some of the greatest stories told through electronic music. For Valentine's Day, we put together a list of the best love songs (both happy and sad) ever made in electronic music, check it out here. Another artist who is so well known for his ability to paint beautiful and extremely emotional pictures with his production is one of our favorite long time faces in dance music Kaskade.
With tracks like “Eyes”, “Under The Stars”, “Disarm You”, and plenty more, the catalog of emotions that Kaskade has inspired is truly remarkable. Through his work with the house group Late Night Alumni he has been able to find an outlet in his music that allows him to produce music that is largely outside of the high energy sets that he normally plays. A few days ago, they teamed up once again to create a gorgeous track entitled “Love Song”. The piece includes perfectly produced percussion accompanied by fleeting harp sounds and absolutely chilling vocals. This piece is as remarkable as many of Kaskade's others, and we can't seem to get enough of it. Take a listen below and ready to get stuck in your feelings for a little while.
