Eric Cunningham is a twenty-one-year-old New York-based nightlife and event photographer with a serious ambition and an explosive entrance to the game. Possessing extensive experience shooting in nightclubs and at music festivals, Eric’s ability to capture these perfect moments is truly a testament to his genuine passion for his art and his everworking skillset. Eric made his debut in the festival scene at New York City’s famed Electric Zoo after working only a handful of club shows, which led to the beginning of an incredible relationship with Made Event, one of his now primary clients. In partnership with Made Event, Eric is often found at Avant Gardner / The Brooklyn Mirage, Brooklyn’s legendary event space that houses four distinct areas within a massive indoor/outdoor complex. Calling this home from the beginning of his start in the industry, Eric is proud to be considered a staple there and the go-to person for the biggest high-octane and fast-paced shows to come through their doors. There are few electronic artists that you can find in Eric’s portfolio – from Afrojack, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki, ZEDD, Tiësto, Marshmello and Martin Garrix to Above & Beyond, Cash Cash, Loud Luxury, Gryffin, JAUZ, Galantis, REZZ, Oliver Heldens, FISHER, Alison Wonderland, NGHTMRE and Slander, the list goes on. Of course, along the way, there have been a number of specialty shows featuring Eric on the front lines, including several of Gareth Emery’s ‘Laserface’ concept shows, deadmau5’s ‘Cube v3’, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s ‘Garden of Madness’ and multiple Elrow events.
2019 was filled with brand new experiences for Eric as a young and skillful photographer ready to travel. After establishing valuable connections with Prime Social Group and Corona Electric Beach, he made circuits around Prime’s Breakaway Music Festivals in Ohio, North Carolina, Nashville and Prime Music FestIval Michigan as well as EDC Orlando and several rooftop and club sessions with Corona.

In addition to his relationships with Made Event, Avant Gardner, and Prime Social Group, Eric has built strong ties with globally renowned hospitality entity TAO Group, who hold a dominating presence within the New York City nightlife scene. A resident photographer at TAO’s lavish LAVO Nightclub, he is also frequently found at Marquee, PHD Midtown and Magic Hour.
Having his photos featured in Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and Forbes, just to name a few, it comes as no surprise that Eric’s work speaks for itself and is up to the utmost standards. The quality, precision, vibrancy and life in each individual photo remains astonishing, but when pieced together as a whole his collection of works is unquestionably one of a kind. Now that he has undoubtedly left his mark on New York City nightlife, he’s ready to expand into new territory. Never afraid to take on new projects and always searching for the next thrill seeking adventure, Eric continues to broaden his horizons while sparking a never ending interest amongst those who come across his work, or have the pleasure to meet him in action.
