Owen Norton Delivers Infectious Dance Anthem, “Doin’ It Right” ft. Shary-An Out Now

On the heels of his widely successful release of “Let You Go” and remix of Gryffin’s “Hold You Tonight” which was streamed over 500k times in its week of release, UK DJ/Producer Owen Norton has returned with an inspiring summer dance-pop anthem, “Doin’ It Right” featuring Shary-An out now!

“Doin’ It Right” is an upbeat, vocal led track that excellently showcases Owen Norton’s dynamic genre defying sound. This pop infused tune is packed with uplifting beats and a pleasantly unexpected melodic electro-pop drop – that would lift any listener sky high! Shary-An’s irresistible vibrant vocals pair perfectly with the uplifting beats, taking the track to another level. “Doin’ It Right” is a radio and festival ready track that makes for the perfect summer soundtrack and chart ascending pop jam. “Doin’ it Right” is available on all streaming platforms now.

When it comes to the inspiration behind “Doin’ It Right” Owen says,

“I really wanted to make a song that has a really feel good vibe about it. The kind of song you want to blast in the car with the windows down singing at full volume. A lot of my previous releases are aimed at one specific audience, but I love to experiment with different sounds and styles, and I think with this song I'm showcasing that. I'm not just doing the same thing all the time.”

At just 20 years old, Owen Norton is already an accomplished producer. His remix for Flo Rida released in 2016 was the first of many high profile mixes Owen would go on to release. From remixes for The Chainsmokers, to Selena Gomez to R3HAB, Norton has his foot set firmly in the dance music scene.

With a string of original releases in 2016 and 2017 proving Owen’s versatility, it only made sense that he would be approached by the likes of Columbia and Interscope Records to remix ‘Sick Boy’ and ‘Wolves’. Summer 2018 was a big one, seeing the release of ‘Hold On Tight’ (remix for R3HAB & Conor Maynard), which was streamed over 10 million times.

2019 kicked off with an official remix for Jonas Blue, that was premiered on the Ultra Miami mainstage, and was a staple in Jonas’ sets, being played at Wembley Stadium and Tomorrowland. It wasn’t long until Norton started to tour himself, making his international debut on a 7 city tour in China. His energetic performances saw him play around Europe too, playing prestigious venues like Pacha and Victoria Warehouse, testing out new original tracks, one of which being ‘Without You” which released late November on dance music giant Proximity.

2020 saw the release of Let You Go, before his remix of Gryffin's “Hold You Tonight” which was streamed over 500k times in its week of release. Shortly about to drop is Owen's summer single and from here Owen plans to set the pace with a release schedule that will see him unveiling a lot of creative output in the coming months. So stay close by because Owen Norton is about to go far and wide
