Palm Springs Heats Up For First Splash House Festival of 2019

This past weekend, partygoers headed to the picturesque desert city of Palm Springs to partake in a magical sun drenched weekend filled with non stop electronic music. Goldenvoice's Splash House kicked off their first Splash House pool party of the year at 3 iconic Palm Springs hotels. Not only were partygoers offered up a massive festival weekend of fun in the sun from noon to sundown but Splash House also held their famous After Hours party at the Air Museum on Friday and Saturday night.

Splash House kicked off the festivities Friday night at the Palm Springs Air Museum for the first After Hours of the weekend. Festivalgoers danced the night away indoors and outdoors alongside historic World War II aircrafts. The line up included Mister Blaqk, Greg Arthur and Kidnap with Dusky closing out the night on a visually captivating aviation styled stage! Saturday's Afterhours offered up more festival fun with Nala, Lee Wells, and heavy weights Dom Dolla and Shiba San closing out the night. What a fun way to party in Palm Springs!

Things heated up on Saturday and Sunday during the Splash House pool parties – literally and figuratively! Temperatures averaged around 99-103 degrees Fahrenheit during the day but that did not stop the thousands of festivalgoers from dancing and partying all day long. Splash House also provided convenient bus shuttles to and from The Renaissance, Saguaro and the Riviera hotel with free hydration stations nearby to refresh and hydrate party goers in the heat. The hotels also came equipped with water mists throughout the grounds to cool off attendees. The festivities could be felt all around, not just at the pool but up above at the hotel balconies. You could find groups of happy festivalgoers waving from their uniquely decorated balconies adorned with fun and cheeky banners, pool floaties and party decorations. The whimsical balcony decorations added an extra layer of fun and creativity to an already awesome festival.

Mariott's Renaissance hotel, the bigger of the three Splash House hotels hosted the likes of DJ Susan, Rambo, CID, Pete Tong, and Justice closing the night out with their DJ set. Sunday saw artists Luces, Zimmer, A-Trak and special guest Thomas Jack with headliner Armand Van Helden closing out the festival stage.
