Jai Wolf, born Sajeeb Saha, is one of the most instantly recognizable names to come out of the melodic bass and future bass wave. He first got everyone’s attention in 2015 with “Indian Summer,” a track he dropped on ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective that ended up cracking Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and landing on Triple J’s Hottest 100 in Australia. That’s a massive first impression for a debut original, and it set the tone for everything that came after.

What makes Jai Wolf’s sound stand out is how he blends huge, cinematic production with genuine songwriting. He’s not just stacking drops, he’s building tracks that feel like actual songs. You can hear that on his 2016 EP “Kindred Spirits” and his debut album “The Cure to Loneliness” in 2019, which leaned into that widescreen, emotional electronic sound he’s known for. Before all that, he was already putting in work as a remixer, flipping tracks for Melanie Martinez, Dirty South, Alesso, and even ODESZA themselves.

After a few quiet years, Jai Wolf came back in March 2023 with “Want It All” featuring Evalyn, and then followed it up with his second full album, “The Red Eye Home,” in November 2024, featuring singles like “Paris,” “Tennis Skirt,” and “Heaven Is Calling.” He’s also linked up with fellow artist San Holo, including a shared bill at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2022 that fans still talk about. He’s currently signed to Mom + Pop Music, and honestly, every project he touches feels like it’s building toward something bigger.
