Trivecta has dropped an absolute dubstep banger in Standing At The Edge. Sam Dobkin is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most talented musician/producers on this planet. If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Trivecta you know he is a special kind of human as well. I have always known that the Floridian producer was right at the edge of becoming a powerhouse in this industry and this track pushed him over. Trivecta brings a filth factor to his music that can no longer go underappreciated.
Standing At The Edge begins with an upbeat melody. Harmonic robot voices call out as the song prepares to unleash hell. At the drop, a filthy bassline carves through synths that cry out. This is by far the heaviest solo original to date from Trivecta. You can feel that touring with artists like Kill the Noise as well as creating songs with guys like Woolie and Seven Lions has taken Trivecta to that next level. This is not to say he is copying them but rather soaking in knowledge like a certain member of the galactic senate awaiting his chance to become Darth Sidious. Star Wars references aside, Standing At The Edge is simply Trivecta spitting fire. Listen for yourself below.
