On April 20, 2018, Avicii died of suicide. Even though Tim Bergling retired from touring in 2016, the DJ and producer constantly struggled with stress and poor mental health for several years. We truly lost an icon of our time.
As Google has compiled the Year in Search 2018, Avicii was the 2nd most trending search topic globally of 2018 right behind the World Cup. Following up Avicii was none other than Mac Miller, Stan Lee, and Black Panther.
