Sebastian Ingrosso Brings Out Axwell And Salvatore Ganacci During Tomorrowland Weekend 2
Just about all dance music fans are familiar with Salvatore Ganacci after his antics over the past few years. Whether it be is near iconic “try to relax your anus” moment from last year or his over the top dance moves from weekend one. While his set this last weekend was a bit more subdued in terms of showmanship, Sal still had a weekend to remember.
After appearing in Sal’s weekend one set, Seb returned the favor by bringing out Ganacci during his solo set in weekend two. Axwell also joined the crew on stage for a glitch in the matrix Swedish House Mafia 2.0 type of debut.
The moment, of course, came with some jokes from the guys as well. Axwell couldn’t help but relive a troll from 2016 when he stopped the music and asked the crowd who was missing from the stage. While the crowd all anticipated they would bring out Angello, Christiano Ronaldo took the stage. The same thing happened this year but Gancci instead of Ronaldo. This Ganacci-Ingrosso-Axwell moment wasn’t just a random Tomorrowland cameo, it was one of several breadcrumbs Swedish House Mafia dropped throughout 2018 that pointed toward something bigger. Just a week earlier during weekend one, Steve Angello had brought Sebastian Ingrosso out during his own Tomorrowland set for a “Save The World” moment, and stunts like these kept happening across the calendar as the three members quietly tested the waters of playing together again after years apart.
All of that groundwork paid off when Swedish House Mafia officially confirmed their full reunion, culminating in the Save The World Reunion Tour and a headline slot at Ultra Miami in 2019. Looking back, moments like this Tomorrowland weekend two cameo read as exactly what they were: the trio easing back into shared stage time one member pairing at a time before finally committing to the real thing. Ganacci getting swept up in it just made the whole ride even more entertaining, since the guy has never met a moment he couldn’t turn into a bit.
