Following a very busy and highly successful 2025, which saw her touring the U.S. and co-producing the anthemic tech-house track “Baseline,” featuring a verse by rapper Snoop Dogg, aptly followed by the further success of the uplifting, groove-driven “More Than A Feeling,” with vocalist Parker Matthews and Jayem. Launching her into the 2026 festival season, Esther Anaya is now releasing “Triple Threat” and is already racking up the streams.
“Triple Threat” is her first fully self-produced track of the year, designed to showcase her vast and varied musical abilities. For this one, Esther wrote, produced, and performed the song herself, hence the title. The song is a high-energy bass house banger that highlights her identity as a DJ, violinist, and producer. Driven by punchy basslines, violin accents, and bold vocals, the track captures Esther’s signature fusion of live instrumentation and festival-ready electronic production.
Who Is Esther Anaya?
Anaya is a Colombian-born, Los Angeles-based DJ, electric violinist, and producer. Her background is a unique and distinctly modern blend of classical training and cutting-edge tactics. The results have carried her far, with high-charting successes and years of live performances on some of the world’s biggest stages, from SoFi Stadium to global music festivals.
She started playing the violin as a child, pursued it through classical conservatories, then found her passion for electronic music and began exploring innovative ways to blend the two. Esther wanted to push boundaries, bringing an instrument people associate with orchestras into the heart of clubs and festivals. She has now been at it for over 20 years and is still evolving every day, with “Triple Threat” serving as a culmination of sorts.
As she describes it, “Triple threat is about owning who you are and embracing your talents, voice, and identity. It’s a song to remind you to take up space, disrupt the status quo, and not shrink to make others feel comfortable.”

Overcoming Obstacles
Breaking into a male-dominated industry as both a DJ and instrumentalist proved extremely difficult for Esther, especially during the formative years of her career. Initially, she found that many people struggled to understand how her violin playing could effectively coalesce with the more EDM-oriented musical landscape.
Ultimately, though, Esther overcame these objections through one thing: playing. Rather than trying to explain it to people, she let her live performances speak for themselves, building energy in the moment, growing a community of fans, and collaborating with artists who believed in the vision.
Making Waves in the Music Industry
Now, Esther has collaborated with some of the biggest artists in the industry, supporting Rihanna and Kanye West, opening sets for Maluma’s European tour, collaborating with Lil Yachty, and gracing major festival stages such as EDC Mexico, Coca-Cola Flow, and Baja BeachFest.
For the past 3 seasons, Esther has also served as the official DJ for the NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers during in-season games at SoFi Stadium. This has led to even larger sports-related opportunities, such as playing at Super Bowl 2023, Pro Bowl 2023, F1-Mexico City 2024, and the PGA’s wildly successful Waste Management Open 2025. With “Triple Threat,” Esther is distilling the experience and success she has accumulated over the years into a single, wildly danceable track.
“Triple Threat” was built on Esther Anaya’s versatility as an artist. As she has gained more ground as a producer and found her own unique musical voice within the space, she’s been able to grow personally and musically. Esther’s distinct background and unique blending of genres, instrumentations, and styles have allowed her to transcend music genres and diverse social scenes in striking ways.
