Over the course of three days, Coachella 2018's live stream surpassed any prior records to become the most watched live stream ever. This year's Coachella attracted more than 43.1 million views and streams from 232 different countries.
In addition to Coachella being the most watched live stream event, Beyoncé’s two-hour performance was streamed simultaneously by 458,000 viewers on YouTube worldwide making history as the most live streamed event in history. Even as Swedish House Mafia reunited at Ultra Music Festival this year, there were only between 160,000 to 180,000 viewers on the Ultra Live Stream.
