1788-L dropped a fire remix of Kraftwerk’s Radioactivity. The mysterious fresh face on the scene has been making a big name for themselves with hard-hitting electronic remixes as well as buzz-sawing originals. You may have recently heard their Virtual Self flip of Particle Arts or the laser cutting track Pulsar/Beam, which can be seen at the 38 second mark in the video below, has been getting support from acts such as Seven Lions.
Kraftwerk, a German band widely considered to be the innovators and pioneers of electronic music, have been bringing the genre into the light since 1969. It makes perfect sense for the futuristic master of the digital sound 1788-L to remix such an iconic group. This version of the track takes the what is now considered retro synths into the new millennium with some added oomph. The refreshed rendition has the 1788-L dark edge that they are quickly becoming recognized for. The soft vocals of the original have been replaced by a jarring robotic voice that fits the song perfectly. Thumping drums and distorted synths scream out as if you are locked in a nightmare. This is not your grandfathers Kraftwerk! Listen to this fantastic remix below.
