10 Electronic Dance Music Albums Expected To Take Over 2018

With 2017 coming to an end, dance music artists around the world are preparing the next big sound for the 2018 year. As we prepare for all of the new dance/electronic releases this year, we have began to prepare the list of 10 of the most anticipated electronic dance music albums of 2018.

During the 2017 year, Gorillaz released their new album Humanz, The xx released I See You, REZZ released Mass Manipulation, and ODESZA released A Moment Apart. Stay tuned for these highly anticipated EDM albums of 2018 from the list below.

Major Lazer

After releasing Peace Is The Mission in 2015, Major Lazer is slated to release their new album Music Is The Weapon some time in 2018.

Skrillex

Back in 2014, Skrillex completely revolutionized his sound with the album Recess. Overnight Skrillex went from one of the most hated artists in dance music to one of the most well-received artists. Now four years later, Skrillex is ready to make his return according to something Diplo mentioned during a past interview.

Steve Angello

The former-Swedish House Mafia member and Swedish DJ and producer Steve Angello, is gearing up for a major 2018 album release. Stay tuned for the highly anticipated sophomore album Human due out soon.

RL Grime

The trap music producer and DJ, RL Grime, has sent fans into a frenzy with releases such as “Reims,” and “Stay For It.” In the 2018 year, RL Grime plans to release another album.

Dillon Francis

Dillon Francis recently announced that he will be releasing a Spanish-themed album for 2018. In addition to this, the DJ and producer announced on December 18th that he is just finishing his album. “2018 is about to be wild” Dillon Francis tweets.

Above & Beyond

Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki of Above & Beyond are gearing up for 2018 with a new trance album. The Anjunabeats founders are now looking to deliver their sixth studio album with the name Common Ground. This new album is slated for a release on January 26, 2018.

Madeon

After finishing up the Shelter Tour with Porter Robinson, fans have been anxiously awaiting new material from the young Madeon. The French producer is now waiting to make his return with a massive release slated for 2018.

Alison Wonderland

Alison Wonderland is one of dance music's fastest rising stars in the scene. After releasing her debut album Run back in 2015, Alison Wonderland shows no signs of slowing down with her sophomore LP due out in 2018.

JAUZ

Just a couple of days ago, JAUZ announced a new album for early 2018 which spans “all genres of electronic music.” Jauz writes “My resolution for 2018 is all about giving you guys the most raw, honest, real version of Jauz and myself that there is. No more cheesy social media posts, TONS of music , coming out as fast as I can make it, and sets that will help introduce new, fresh, weird music to people who might not hear it otherwise. Back to the basics of what the Jauz Project is all about to me in every way. I’m gonna make 2018 the best year for myself as a person and an artist and I hope you guys come along for the ride.”

Kayzo

Ever since Kayzo came onto the scene, dance music fans have been delighted to Kayzo's definition of hard dance music. After teasing a few singles in 2017, Kayzo is slated for his debut album Overload which will drop in early 2018.
