Even though Gustav Ahr aka Lil Peep passed away earlier this year, DJ and producer, Marshmello was scheduled to release a new single with the late Lil Peep on January 12th.
There's not much known about the release except that his spokesperson said that the pair began working on the collaboration before the rapper passed away in November. “Peep would have wanted his collaborators to move forward with his plan for the release of music and visuals,” the rapper’s mother tells a British newspaper.
When Lil Peep passed away, Marshmello was quick to react saying that Peep was one of “the nicest person ever.” A week after the news of his passing, Marshmello performed with a Lil Peep tribute.
