Spotify has just released its year-end charts, presenting the most streamed songs, albums, and songs of 2017.
Similar to the most Shazamed songs of the year wrapup, Ed Sheeran dominates as the year's most streamed artist on Spotify worldwide. With his success of “Shape Of You,” Spotify has given the honor of most streamed song and most streamed album to be Ed Sheeran this year.

Earlier this year, “Shape Of You” dethroned Drake's “One Dance” as the most streamed Spotify song of all time. Check out the entire list of this year's most streamed artists below.

Sheeran leads with over 6.3 billion streams this year, dethroning Drake who took the top spot in 2015 and 2016. Drake is the only top 5 artist carried over from last year.
