Documentary Reveals The Price DJs Pay For Fame

The DJ vlog DJsounds.com recently released a documentary of what being a professional DJ is really like. The lifestyle and limelight of your favorite DJ might seem amazing, but life after those couple hours of fame on stage can actually take a toll on a person.

The documentary, titled “Slaves To Rhythm” features big names such as; Carl Cox, Luciano, Seth Troxler, Erick Morillo, B.Traits, Ben Pearce and Pete Tong MBE. Together, they all share their experiences of life on and off stage. Surprisingly, they explain how many DJs are introverts. They also talk about how DJs try to match that same high that they get when performing by taking on different addictions. Exhaustion and depression are also common.

“Slaves To Rhythm” is just the right length to get the point across (about 40 minutes). Give it a watch and consider that the life of a DJ isn't so easy.
