It is with a deep sadness to report the news that the drum & bass legend Apex has passed away.
Robert Dickeson grew up in Kent, England. Before his solo career as the drum & bass moniker Apex, Dickeson was part of a duo called Unknown Error.
Back in 2007, Apex began his career on Hospital Records and was key to help develop the Lifted Music label with Chris Renegade, Ewun, Evol Intent and Spor.
Back in 2016, Dickeson created a new alias under Robert Oaks and released four singles via Mau5trap.
Sources close to Dickeson have alleged that his death was the result of suicide.
