Skrillex has not been playing it safe in 2017. In a way we really could not be happier. Many expected Skrillex to exclusively return to the world of bass after the unofficial hiatus of the Jack U project. But no, Sonny Moore has continued to push the boundaries of the expectations his fans have put on him. Not only has be dropped some real unexpected house Gems, but now he has released an almost entirely reggae tune.
Skillex teamed up with Damian Marley and Ty Dolla $ign on his latest tune, ‘So Am I'. Officially released as the latter's track, ‘So Am I' is not what many would expect from Skrillex. It is a downtempo, tradition Jamaican track. To say that this song is cleanly put together is an understatement. Everything flows perfect from one style to another. Check it out below.
