Jack U is the name of a musical collaboration between Diplo and Skrillex. The duo first worked together on the song “Where Are Ü Now” for Justin Bieber's album Purpose (2015). They subsequently released a self-titled EP in February 2016, which featured guest appearances from singers AlunaGeorge, Kiesza, and Missy Elliott, among others. In 2017, Jack U won the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Diplo is a producer and DJ best known for his work with Major Lazer and M.I.A. Skrillex is a DJ and producer who first gained notoriety as the lead singer of the band From First to Last. He has since gone on to have a successful solo career, winning several Grammy Awards for his work in the electronic dance music genre.
