ODESZA Release ‘Higher Ground’ Featuring Naomi Wild
After finally getting around to update their Spotify playlist, ODESZA has just released their newest track off of their future album A Moment Apart. Today (July 10th), ODESZA unexpectedly released their track “Higher Ground” featuring Naomi Wild.
“Higher Ground” is ODESZA’s fifth song released off of their unreleased album. During the past couple of months, ODESZA has shared “Line Of Sight,” “Late Night,” “Corners Of The Earth,” and “Meridian.” Stream ODESZA’s newest single featuring the vocals of Naomi Wild in the Apple Music link below.

“Higher Ground” ended up being one of the standout moments on A Moment Apart, and it’s easy to hear why. Naomi Wild’s vocal sits right in the pocket between ODESZA’s cinematic horn stabs and the kind of driving, four-on-the-floor low end that made the duo festival mainstays. Alongside the rest of the album’s rollout, it helped build up serious anticipation heading into the album’s release.
Update: A Moment Apart officially dropped in September 2017 and debuted at Number 2 on the Billboard 200, ODESZA’s highest chart placement to date at the time and proof that their steady, methodical single rollout throughout the summer had paid off. “Higher Ground” went on to become one of the most streamed cuts from the record and later got its own remix EP, with contributions from artists like Flight Facilities. Along with tracks like “Line of Sight” and “Late Night,” it helped turn A Moment Apart into one of the defining electronic albums of that era, and it’s still a staple in ODESZA’s live sets today.
