Diplo is rumored to be working with his ex-girlfriend, Katy Perry, to help revive American Idol. After 555 total episodes, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest decided to call it quits, but now Katy Perry is looking to bring the show back to reality.
Last month (May 17th), Katy Perry picked up $19 million to become a judge on the reality TV singing competition. Diplo told Billboard “I've also been talking to American Idol on the side to try to help them with the (ABC network reboot) with Katy.” Diplo later went on to say “I just like the idea of working with them. They’re cool.”
