Matoma Gives Tropical Flair To Another Hip-Hop Track ‘Party On The West Coast’ Featuring Faith Evans, Biggie & Snoop

Norwegian producer Matoma has teamed up with Faith Evans & The Notorious B.I.G. for his latest feel-good smash, “Party On The West Coast (feat. Snoop Dogg).” The track was released yesterday, May 21st, in commemoration of what would have been The Notorious B.I.G.’s 45th birthday.

Party On The West Coast (Feat. Snoop Dogg)” sees Matoma bringing his one-of-a kind touch to the unstoppable summer anthem, “When We Party (Feat. Snoop Dogg),” featured on “THE KING & I,” the new collaborative album from Faith Evans & The Notorious B.I.G.

Matoma speaking on his love for Biggie:

“It's funny how much of an impact one person can have on your life, I'll never forget the first time I heard Biggie. My big brother Dan played me ‘Ready To Die’ and I had never heard anything like it. I couldn't understand the words or the stories, but I could feel them, his flow, the vibe…it changed me.”

On working with Faith Evans, Matoma explains, “Both [Evans] and her team are amazing, her voice and vibe are incredible, and now I'm honored to share a song with not only her, but also the one and only Snoop Dogg, and the legend who changed my life.”

“It was a pleasure working with Matoma on “Party on the West Coast,” says Evans, “After the success of “Old Thing Back”, it was a no brainer to bring Matoma and B.I.G. together again.  Happy we were able to make something special around “The King & I” campaign.”

This song adds a tropical flair to an already amazing song and makes it a MUST in your summer playlist. I have a feeling you will be hearing this song at pool parties and beaches everywhere this summer. Listen below!
