19-year old Norwegian producer, Alan Walker hit a major milestone that even some of the most well-known producers have yet to accomplish. His most popular single “Faded” gained him one billion views on YouTube this week. This is quite the feat considering there are only 52 videos that have reached this milestone, with seven of them receiving over two billion.

The song “Faded” dropped in December of 2015 and the music video profiles a young man who's apparently searching for something or someone, just as the song describes. A few of his other popular tracks include “Alone” and “Sing Me to Sleep,” which was remixed by Marshmello, himself.
YouTube even posted a tribute tweet to Walker's accomplish. In addition to hitting one billion views, “Faded” also received platinum certifications in over 10 countries. It looks like this is one song that fans near and wide can really get behind.
