So Eric Prydz Just Dropped 5 IDs In His Epic Radio Show
Eric Prydz was back at it again! After announcing his mind blowing EPIC 5.0 show in London the week before, and unveiling the return of his EPIC Radio Show, Prydz had just gone and dropped 5 surprise IDs in the hour long mix. After reporting on 4 new IDs recorded at a show earlier in the month, we now had a concrete idea of what the next mammoth release was going to sound like… and it was actually EPIC.
Fans could expect to hear the IDs in an official format real soon, as Prydz welcomed the announcement of a “New Pryda EP in November” with a studio teaser of a track that also featured in the radio show mix.

The EPIC 5.0 live show mentioned in the original announcement went on to debut in London in 2017, becoming one of the most talked-about production spectacles in dance music at the time, complete with Prydz’s signature holographic visuals. As for the IDs teased in this mix, several of them were gradually rolled out over the following months and years under Prydz’s Pryda alias, a naming convention he’s used for years to release his more stripped-back, club-focused productions separately from his Eric Prydz-branded material. Prydz has continued to use his radio show and live sets as a proving ground for unreleased material well beyond 2016, a habit that’s become one of the most reliable ways for fans to get an early listen at what’s coming next from him.
