During Skrillex's interview with Katie Couric in June of 2015, Skrillex accidentally let it slip that Marshmello's real name was Chris. At the time of the interview, there was already some speculation that Marshmello was actually Chris Comstock aka Dotcom. After this moment, Skrillex shared a special bond with Marshmello. At the same time, Marshmello also shared a special bond with the up and coming trap producer, Slushii.
