Shaun Frank has been making some serious waves recently, and building up quite the discography as a singer/DJ/producer. Last year alone, the Canadian multi talent delivered huge club hits with the tracks, ‘Shades Of Grey' (with Oliver Heldens),'Heaven' (a collab with KSHMR), and he recently co-wrote The Chainsmokers' worldwide hit ‘Closer' which currently sits at #1 on the Billboard Top 100 Songs. It just goes to show you how incredibly talented he is.
Quick story…I met Shaun Frank two years ago at Firefly Music Fest when he was first coming up on the scene. He had an unfortunate time slot against Steve Aoki because Steve's set was rained out the previous night. Naturally everyone flocked to Steve Aoki as most were unfamiliar with Shaun, but I'll never forget his set which was hands down my favorite of the weekend. After Shaun's set I had the opportunity to interview him, and as we were riding in the van back to the artists area I just remember telling him, “people have no idea how talented you are and they'll only find out in time”. Needless to say, a lot more people know Shaun Frank, and would be checking out his set now.
Anyways, Shaun has returned with an original production while teaming up with San Diego singer Ashe for the first time, immediately turning up with a undeniable hit. The track is titled ‘Let You Go Away', and it works up stylish pop vibes along with exciting, synth based dance rhythms, touching both body and mind with its chords and vocal lines. ‘Let You Get Away' has seen support from the likes of The Chainsmokers, R3hab, Dillon Francis, Jay Hardway, Ummet Ozcan, Lucas & Steve, and many more. Be sure to check out Shaun Frank as he comes to a city near you as apart of The Getaway Tour.
