On August 28, 2016, Avicii performed his final show in dance music history. As many dance music fans know, there was no better place for Avicii to play his final show than in Ibiza, Spain.
“My choices and career have never been driven by material things, although I’m grateful for all the opportunities and comforts my success has availed me,” Avicii said. “I know I am blessed to be able to travel all around the world and perform, but I have too little left for the life of a real person behind the artist.”
Despite fan's mourning from the dance music artist retiring from touring, many are grateful for his dedication to the industry over the years.
