It's been over a year since the untimely passing of Avicii. Yet, not a day goes by where our hearts don't melt at every melody that hits our ear waves from the great Tim Bergling.
The other night I was hanging on the couch with “America's Got Talent” on. A guy came on stage named Chris Kläfford. Guy looks like Zac Brown Band front man, Zac Brown. He's a 30-year-old lad from Sweden and you almost knew the moment he stepped on the screen that he was about to make cry. He sang an Acoustic rendition on “Imagine” by John Lennon and as expected it was water works o'clock in my house. Just has the kind of voice that sends chills down your spine.
I got online and started doing some research about this guy and he actually won a season of Sweden's version of American Idol. Went down a bit of a worm hold and came across one of the most amazing acoustic covers of “Wake Me Up” by Avicii that I have ever heard. He sang it on a Swedish news network the day after Avicii's passing.
Just wanted to take a minute to share this. Any fan of music can find some so tranquility in this whether it be in the form of reminiscing or just simply enjoying an insane vocalist. Chris, thank you for this. We are not worthy.
