When Skrillex and Diplo formed Jack Ü, we knew it was going to be a big couple of years for dance music.
After the success of Jack Ü's debut album, Skrillex and Diplo took home a number of Grammys at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance Recording and went 3X Platinum status for their collaborative single with Justin Bieber for “Where Are U Now.” Jack Ü continued the hype by performing at some of the year's biggest music festivals in the world.
Now on June 22nd, The RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) has formally announced that Jack Ü's mixtape has sold over 500,000 units and received the Gold certification.
