As a big fan of AlunaGeorge, it takes a lot to sway me into liking many remixes of their work. You could say my biggest fear is that a remix might damage the perfect vocals that Aluna produces. Well, the ‘Dirty Disco' producer Throttle has stepped up to the plate and took AlunaGeorge's recent hit “I'm In Control” for a spin. After hearing this remix, I can now say the fear is gone!
The remix of “I'm In Control” took the chill vibe of the original and turned it into a Disco House sensation. The instrumentals throughout the track are what really makes it stand out. The horns in the second buildup keep you interested, and if you listen closely you can even catch a tambourine making an appearance. Best of all, Aluna's vocals aren't tampered with, putting faith back in the remix-doubters like me.
