Savoy – Love Is Killing Me (feat. Chali 2na)

Savoy has given us a little peak into the new EP 1000 years with the release of Love is Killing Me featuring Chali 2na. Savoy known for lasers, high energy, lasers, genre melting, lasers, live shows, and did I mention lasers, show a flair for mixing hip hop, indie dance and rock n roll. Savoy bring in Chali 2na who is associated with the groups Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli to lay down some vocals.

While it is not the in your face Savoy you may be used to, Love is Killing Me shows the ingenuity of this band. This future bass track can suit any mood and it was designed this way on purpose.

“We had the idea a while ago, and right then we knew we had something really cool. It’s got a relaxed, grooving vibe, yet still packs a ton of energy as well. We're so glad we waited on releasing the track because Chali 2na heard it backstage at a show and we both knew it would be an amazing collaboration. Chali just adds that smooth vibe that makes you feel like, ‘we got this.’ It's now shaped into something that we absolutely love – it works just as well on a mellow morning as it does on the big stage live at night – and to us, that's what’s up.”

I have listened to the 1000 years EP and it has something for everyone. Trust me, you do not want to miss out on this one.
