Maroon 5 – Sugar (Sicarii Remix)

After spending years as one of the leaders in the blogosphere, Matt Medved is shedding his editor jacket and trying his hand as a producer. Medved, also known by the stage name, Sicarii, made his debut at Billboard's Hot 100 Music Festival, where he dropped this gem of a remix that is now officially being released. Sicarii is only the second artist behind Nicki Minaj to officially remix Maroon 5's hit, and he's taken it a completely different direction. Like with any good Maroon 5 remix, Sicarii leaves Adam Levine's top-line nearly untouched and laying down a groovy house backbone that will have you shaking your tail-feathers on the dance floor.

For an extra bit of house-y goodness, Sicarii has also released his Billboard‘s Hot 100 Fest set on SoundCloud. It not only features his remix of “Sugar,” but other Gems like Shiba San's “Okay.””
