David Guetta Calls DJing Off USBs With No Playlist ‘Old School’

In a new interview with Beatport, David Guetta talks about his set during the first weekend of Coachella 2015.

“Something crazy happened to me on the [1st weekend],” says Guetta. “I’m using Rekordbox and Pioneer to play, and before I saved my playlist to my SD card, my computer crashed. So I just had to put all my music in a random order on USB sticks at the last minute, doing it really old school, scrolling to look for the records I wanted to play next.”

Despite David Guetta‘s “old school” approach to his set, it was well received with performances by Black Eyed Peas [1st weekend] and Nicki Minaj [2nd weekend].
