BT Breaks A Guinness World Record For Most Vocal Edits In A Song

Brian Wayne Transeau otherwise known as his stage name BT is a pioneer in electronic music and has been credited as a being pioneer of the IDM and trance.

After raising more than $200,000 via Kickstarter for his dream project, BT announced via Twitter that he is positive that he re-broke his Guinness World Record for most audio edits in a single song. “Orchestra on Simply Being Loved alone are 10k edits.”

For those unfamiliar with BT's work, during his fourth studio album in 2003, BT created the track “Somnambulist (Simply Being Loved)” which broke the Guinness World Record for the largest number of vocal edits with 6,178. While BT's newest Guinness World Record isn't official, be sure to be on the lookout when it is!
