Released this week is a fresh remix package, giving Swedish vocalist Sirena’s “Chemicals” a new lease of life. On hand to deliver their individual take are Nils Noa, Televisor and Addal.
Each version is refreshing in how the original is moved into different musical territories, and the EP as a whole is a great listen. Televisor opens the collection, and puts a bouncing disco twist on the track, giving
the vocals added vitality. Nils Noa, the Norwegian DJ and producer is up next, and his version is
one for those who like their sounds murkier and more progressive. An apt close to the set comes from Addal, and this final remix is electro-influenced, bringing out the piano chords of the original in serene
fashion.
